let's see---he was invited to the under 17 main camp and a Kitchener Rangers draft pick. He also played Jr. A for the Sudbury Northern Wolves as a 16 yr. old..hardly a plug.

Way to go Matt, great to know your Grey County roots go deep. You have been taught well and are passing on your discipline and desire on to your players. As most of us Grey Countites know "if you don't do it right the first time then why bother doing it. "

Stratfords rookie centres are playing unbelievable both coming into a team that is starting all over with only 6 or 7 vets returning. Warda and Buck are filling the shoes of many great players that played prior to there arrival. Dont think any other rookies are playing any better in the league right now. Best of Luck Guys

warda and buck from stratford best rookies in the league hands down.....look who dupont is playing with ford who is in the lead for league scoring and watson who is in second. warda just got back from injury with a broken rib. while he was gone buck took his place and did an incredible job. many rookies would fold under the pressure of being a first liner but these guys both strive off those kind of things.

Zane Neily in Brantford is playing very well. Turned 3 last week and got player of the week honours. All that playing on the third line. Not bad.

welsh from waterloo...best all around forward he grinds he scores and makes plays and he plays in his own end too warda buck and dupont are floaters that are all offense but cant play low in the offensive end
|
|
|
Post by hometown kid on Oct 30, 2005 18:55:07 GMT -5
welsh was cut from stratford and cant do anything up front so hes not an all around good forward her may have defence going for him but warda and buck can play D and quickly transfer to offence quicker than most in the league. welsh is big and strong but warda being a floater? how when hes one of the fastest guys in the league and buck may float but he does have speed and can see the ice as well as the best of them. still i think warda and buck for best all around rookies.
