It has only been 4 games into the season - From what I have seen they lost 4-1 to Stratford, tied 2nd game 2-2 (thanks to the ref) and lost 2 games by 1 goal lately. One game being down 6-1 to Cambridge - leaque leading team - and coming back making CAmbridge look silly in the 3rd period.........Give them some time......I remember last year -ummmm who won, Listowel, and where did they end up last year. You never know what will happen...you can lead the leaque and go for a crap at the end of the season.....happens all the time. We'll see if Brantford still sucks in a month or so.....

thats because cambridge quit playing in the 3rd...there doing that alot . If they would play in the 3rd they would be killing teams by even more.

;DChamelion...You can talk about Listowel winning the Cherry Cup and finishing 7th overall, 12 pts. out of 1st. Don't forget they led the league out of the gate much the same as they are doing this season. They had great goaltending throughout most of the season and they worked their butts off every night. They also have a solid coach in Williams, something that remains to be seen in Brantford. Brantford has new coaches but so far the results have been the same...slow start that will spell a fight for the last playoff spot.

4-1 Domination over Waterloo gets a 1 in the W column. They are much better than Waterloo and Guelph. You'll be surpised I think how good they'll do, I'll guess 3 or 4th place

Brantford is stacking up to be the darkhorse of the league. i remember they led the league early in the season a couple of years ago. i think they'll be OK.

Brantford could have 2 solid lines if certain players start to produce...the d is suspect and overall team defense lacks drive...goaltending has been firm so far but if they want to challenge for the top third of the league then they have a lot of work ahead of them...the win against Waterloo means nothing since so far this year there're pretty sad, the real test will be against Listowel Friday night.

they r all way too slow, maybe like 3 or 4 guyz that stand out, just go wide on them and you have them beat. The goalie is a civ.

Mullan has great potential be a core player on that club if has confidence in his abilty and is given the opportunity to perform. He has a great shot and has hands. If he stays healthy this year he could be a 20+ man.

Like most teams in the league, management thinks bigger is better. What is wrong with intelligent, skillfull , smaller players who know how to be team players. You want your team to be winners or Goons.

Replace the goon with a skilled a hockey player. Skill and experience will win hockey games not fights. If you need a fighter he should be available to have some self control.

I don't believe the management of the team believes bigger is better. You don't have to 6' 2" to play in this league. You need skill and heart whether you're big or 5' 7" like Maloney. Team chemistry is huge, sometimes more important than skill. Cambridge is a perfect example of a team that may be lacking in some skill but the coaches have them coming to play every night and for each other. They have a great room. Brantford has assembled a pretty good team. They have 2 solid lines made up of big and smaller guys, that can dominate teams at times but they aren't scoring that goal at key times and are giving up goals at critical times. That's the story here.

well if they want to be contenders they have to start dominating teams from start to finish and not just skate with them and win or lose the game by one or two goals !

Pro scout...of that there is not doubt but I don't believe the players are putting in the effort required to be an upper level team in this league.

Eagle's hang on for 1-0 shutout win over a tired looking King's team who are in the midst of 3 in 3. Brantford goalie saved em in the 3rd as Elmira was all over them. Seems like the same old Brantford tale is unfolding again this season because they don't have the drive to put teams away when it counts.

hey 9, why don't you give a little credit...Brantford played well, but Elmira played a little desperate in the third. What about when they came back against Cambridge and almost won, and did come back in Listowel. Give them some kudos for the effort. Also, that was only the scond game for Elmira!!

Great Win in Listowel tonight. New players seem to be finding their groove. Rennie played outstanding. Guess getting out of that cesspool in O'ville has helped his game.

Once again the Eagles role over the opposition this time it was the Dutchies. Got scoring from all lines and stellar tending. Great job.

Sunday nite in Elmira brantford didnt suck. Didnt win the game but it was fast and furious all three periods. If brantford keeps coming on like that they just might pull a listowel at the end of the season.

I can't believe this.....Did Riz want to coach that bad - Brantford's organization has not changed - to bad, thought this was the year. CAn't go anything about it until the owners sell - it will stay the same as it has been for years. Was some good fast hockey for a change....but now what will happen???

Riz has no say in it. it was up to the owners and they did the best thing they thought for the team. time will tell. owners had the say not riz
