Why was it for the best? TEam was looking good - the owners just want all the say. They should go behind the bench, see how far they can take the team. Last year they fired the coach within 10 games - this year within a few months!!! No stability in Brantford, never will be. If I played, I'd ask for my release now - nothing is going to change in that organization.

ya right riz didn't have a say. It almost as if this was a set up. Let the new coaches get everything rolling and then let riz and his asst coach mike down (i presume will also be on board) take over right from where they started. Those two know nothing about coaching, it was proven last year. They don't know the game. There is more to hockey than shooting, passing, and hitting. Sad sad thing. Now riz is going to be forced to play the owners son and they are going o lose because of it. Feel sorry for everyone envolved because they are now the laughing stock of the league.

The coaches were architects of their own demise. Many things going on behinde the scenes that led to their being removed. Talk to any of the players and parents. Results don't always tell the whole story.

What are you talking about bud!!! I am a player for the golden eagles, and there was nothing wrong with what dave did behind the scenes. A lot of the guys liked him and the ones that didn't was because he was so hard on the to put out an effort. Our team will miss them but I am sure that we will bounce back with 3 straight this weekend.

I her that riz will take over as coach with andy secore and nathan gilchrist ast coaches. Bad move they may be good players but not coaches
