ever thought Cambridge is just better than the high priced players of Brantford? Lets see if Montour can buy his way out of this? ??

I am definately not a fan of Brantford but still give them credit for getting to the finals...especially with all the egos in that room. They are a good team yes, but hard work & heart are beating them....good on Cambridge and their organization.

Very true comment. Brant did make it to the finals so they must of done something right! But when it comes to playoffs its all about playing with heart and whoever wants it more will win!....and anything can happen!

Well, Montour start digging in those deep pockets for next year.....How much you gonna spend? Hope it was worth it this year. Cambridge is much more respected in the league and deserve this championship!

Ya well when Brill's been at it since Moses caddied for Jesus you tend to figure a few things out and build quite a network. Scouting for the Colts doesn't hurt either. There is no denying the impact he has had since moving to Cambridge, took a program that was in the toilet and turned it around. Hired quality coaches and brought every kid that was willing to come to build a great program. But how many Cambridge kids are on that roster? How many mid round picks are there? Good organizations take time, so give Brant a chance. Every program needs to start somewhere and the Eagles couldn't have got much worse than when the CIRCUS was in town. Rizz and Co. did a good job finding kids that would commit to come and stay around. Huge success given their history. Great things have come out of this season and lay the foundation for continued success in the future. If this league is lucky all remaining 9 teams will challenge for 1st place next season because that will build a larger fan base for all centres and strengthen the MWJB loop.

It ain't over til the Fat Lady sings...Hopefully that should be Sunday night. Cambridge is a far superior team, with a bench load of talent. It certainly won't hurt anybodys' pocket book if the series went to 5. Cambridge wants to end it in Brantford. That's a fact, so you can take it to the bank.....
