How's the new coaching staff doing? I see they continued their winning streak which is good, but how long will they be able to hold onto it with these guys behind the bench?

I think we have to ask the owners about that - they will tell you pretty quick. After the loss last Saturday, they are probably not happy and ready to fire Riz... HAHA He's next - isn't that what happens in Brantford. Haven't heard if they even have had any interviews. BUT then who would want to go there?

It is easy to be good when you buy yourself a team. Just wait and see - Brantford has a very bad reputation.....no stability Hey, I enjoy watching them this year, but they have the same reputation as they have had in the past. Just mention Brantford around the area and they are the big joke in the league. It is really to bad!

Hey Fan, every team in this league and every other league "buys" their players to some extent or another. In the past it's been the big 4 that have shelled out big money to build their winners. Brantford has developed their team over the last couple of seasons. They have identified areas that needed improvement and went out and acquired the players who could come in and fill the holes and add depth. And your right the Eagles don't get any respect from the other clubs in the loop but tough. Not out to win a popularity contest, just games.

Yes, Brantford are getting players this year - BUT where are they coming from - not from this area. They have to bring them in from out East or West or whoever doesn't know the reputation. Like what was said before, they have no respect. If I had a son that could play Jr.B - there is no way he would play in Brantford with the reputation they have - prior to this year and because of this year. I hear what goes on with that team and it is brutal.....they beat Stratford last night, but you know what, I would rather be in Stratford than Brant. I have seen more players play at a higher level that have come from STratford than have from Brantford. Stratford has always had a great reputation and have been a great team to watch over the years!

Good comments to "Disable Smilies". Brantford has done a great job putting this team together & it is working. Still don't understand why they would fire their coaching staff.

Brantford lost tonight to Kitchener. Also heard Rizetto is coaching the rest of the year. Maybe it is true, they can't find anyone else to take it over.

They are right every team spends money to get the better players they need to win. The difference here is the way the team is throwing money around. They offer OHL scouts $1500 cash to any scout who brings them a player. They pay their players for goals scored, they have a horrible reputation and think because they finally ice a competive team they can change it. I wouldn't know a coach in their right mind who want to go anywhere near the circus they have in Brantford. Brantford people can say what they want but the buzz around Ontario is that they are a joke.

The Brantford organization has build a great team this year. The majority of the players are from the area or from within the MWJRB league. One player is from down east and one from WJR (Ontario). You can check this information on their website if you want. This is the best team that Brantford has iced in many years. GO EAGLES GO.

:'(Quite right, and as well you dont spend fifty years developing the reputation brantford has and undo it all with a couple of wins here and there. Show the league some manners and consistency for 2 or 3 years and then ask for respect.
