After seeing Brantford lose to Stratford on Friday, it's apparent that the Golden Eagles are a BIG team, but do they have the skill to compete against the big boys?
Can they withstand the expected surge of Guelph and hang on to their playoff spot? Maybe higher?
Who needs to step up this year?

::)It's time for Krolouski and Mc Kinley to start putting the numbers on the board. 3rd year in the league...it's now or never. On the line Scott Duncan will be looked to lead the way. The Eagles apparently have something going on in net after 2 solid starts by their new goaltending tandem. The Sin Bin will be the only question...stay out of the box & you win games if you don't they'll miss the playoffs.

Brantford has a great Goalie he proved that against Stratford friday night but they didnt play smart hockey they played like goons at times and that will hurt them if they keep it up like K said in previous message. That #9 Naylor is just an idiot .... he would have been sitting in the room if I was coaching all he did was run at guys all game what a bonehead.

Brantford has great goalies this year but nobody can score goals. well its hard for maloney to score goals when he is on third line and gets no ice time. They still have bad D they lost secore the best D to come from brant and they lost there top 3 pointgeters gilcrest, nemeth and ostapuk

Maloney deserves to be on the third line, maybe the 5th line. He had one decent year when he played on a line with Szczechura and Gilchrist. My dog could have got 78 pts playing with those 2 guys. Hamilton couldn't wait to get rid of him. He's a stiff.

yes brantford is big. however no skill. i think if you are a tough player in the league, you atleast need to be able to move. naylor is brutle. cmon, the poor guy cant skate, move him around in a fight and he's toast. but i must admit they do lay good body checks, but thats all they really do. the only way they caught up with cambridge is cuz they simply stopped playing after the sheridan vs. naylor fight. which sheridan held his own considering how tough naylor is said to be. but letting go is what cambridge has to learn to stop doing.

he came from orangeville and is playing very well. With Benesch and John Neil just added, it will help Johnson and Grant-Hose with the scoring.
