I realize that the Eagles are riding high and feeling good about themselves right now. They sit in second place and look pretty darn good in the stats department. But the fact of the matter is, Brantford is still Brantford. I've seen them near the top of the leader board before. Where did that get them? NO where. They eventually slow down and fade away, making an early exit in the playoffs. If I was a Brantford player, I wouldnt even post on here. I would keep to myself and realize i'm nothing in this league. If I was, I would have earned a spot on a "known" top team in the league. Just play your hearts out, and maybe another team will see something in you and pick you up for a playoff run!!!

just can't stand it can you! how dare the eagles ice a competitive team that rivals the big 3 in the league. feel sorry for you and your narrow minded outlook.

Brantford is clearly the favourite to go all the way. They have dominated all the teams they have played. Strong goaltending combined with a solid D and superior forwards equal a Sutherland Cup - no doubt.

from what I have seen of brantford they may just do what listowel did last year and make all the know it alls into bad guessers. they definitely are having growing pains but they are by no means out of the running. ;D

I'm pretty sure that 5 Brantford players signed on and stated their opinions right now. And to already consider yourself to be sutherland cup champs this year, you must be huffin' gas. Thats the most obsurd comment i've seen on this forum. Give your head a shake. If I was you, I would worry about your next game, not the Show for the year end. You'll be lucky to steal a game or two in the first round of playoffs

Brantord is a solid team and played well last night in Stratford. They do not look like a Sutherland Cup champ yet. May be like Listowel last year with not enough to win it all. They may still pick up some players though. No offence but not alot of organizations outside of Stratford and Elmira lately have no clue how hard it is to win a cup, so don't proclaiming yourselves yet. They have no where near the talent of the Cup winners from our league in the past 6 years. I could support Brantford though if they won the Cherrey and went on to the Suthie. Nice rink, lots of seats close enough. Unlike Listy last year. It is too bad that Brantfords success is lost on the city, hope they start to draw more fans and create a bit of an atmosphere in there.
Top 4 finish for sure.
