With Jr. C having introduced overage maybe it's for J. B to do the same.

Jr B continually loses players not only to Prov. Jr A but to Jr. C. If this league is going to thrive/survive perhaps overage players should be considered. C has lots of green to through at players plus gives them an opportunity to play an extra year. Tier II always lurks around to steal better players, which is the greatest threat to O'ville because of their location. An overage policy for this league might allow teams to "lure" players away from "A" and keep the better, older players around for an extra year. Also the introduction of the model this season has restricted player availability on the younger end of the scale so maybe the time has come to seriously attack the overage issue.

Yes, our league is getting hit from both ends. Younger & older. With Cyclones just losing Verberne to lower level was definately a point proven. An unfair advantage to C & D teams. Something needs to be done. No reason why we shouldn't get 2 or 3 overagers also.

Get rid of the overage rule! Standardize the age right across the board in the OHA. let's say make it 21! For the last few years the C and D teams have been raiding the B league of some premiere players Chester from Elmira to Wingham, Walker from OS to Wingham, Rooney and Hutchinson from OS to Kincardine. Now Verberne! The lsit goes on and on! Come on OHA do something.

IT'S NOT THE OHA THAT HAS TO DO SOMETHING. IT IS UP TO THE MEMBER TEAMS IN THE JR. B LOOPS THAT MUST BAND TOGETHER. IT MUST BE PUT FORWARD TO BE APPROVED AT THE AGM JUST LIKE THE VISOR RULE LAST SUMMER. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN VISITED A FEW TIMES OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS BUT NEVER SEEMS TO GET ANYWHERE. THE TIME HAS COME.
