I think all time penalties should be served for the duration. All minor penalties should be served for the entire two minutes regardless if the other team scores on the PP.

Not when guys like Schmidt are reffing in the league. The whole game would be powerplays. At least now when he refs there's the 30 seconds in between after a goal is scored and when he decides to call another penalty.

Also an icing should be an icing regardless if a team is short handed or not. Let's make it painful to take penalties!

::)Also on a delayed penalty call, I don't think the whistle should be blown until the offensive team has truly lost control of the puck, not when the defensive player makes contact with it.

A lot of good discussion. At the end of the season I will summarize and forward to OHA for information.

Somehow I agree with Mohovolich,Zoa, and Real Jr B Fan, so Guys what's the solution, full body armour with no refs, and each shift must play a full shift. 5 on 5 all the time.

Hey numbers trying to be serious. Schmidt can call too many penalties. Only when the consequences are appropriate will we see a decrease in infractions and more five on five play. Skilled giys not goons will rule. Someone shake and wake me from this dream.
