It's early still but i think this trade is working out well in our favor....the new guys seemed to have brought some much needed energy to a lackluster squad....any other thoughts???

Agreed crunch and brantford sukcs. this trade is paying dividends now and will especially look awesome down the road. heffy looks amazing out there. whats best about these guys is that they are smart hockey players, no stupid penalties, keeps their heads in the game which is what waterloo needs. They are so undisciplined still which leads back to coaching. Future definitely looks bright in siskinville.

He gets better with each shift. Congrats Peter Brill another awsome trade for the Hawks.

they both have 36 pts on the year. waterloo got better of deal. lacey is doing better on a weaker team than golem on top team.

It's quite easy for an average player to be impressive on a much weaker team like Waterloo. It definitely was a good trade for Cambridge this year. What will happen to the 2 ex Hawks next year, i.e. Was this just a one year trade to give all three a shot. Chris for a ring, Lacey and Heffermen for more ice time. Peter Brill is a lot smarter than we can imagine.

'peter brill is a lot smarter than we can all imagine'... are u peter brill or do u work for him ... cause you dont sound bias at all ::)I'm a long time fan of the Winterhawks, I think Peter has done a great job. I just wish some of the other organizations out there had his kind of talent.I don't think he has ever held a kid back from their dreams. I just have one big concern right now and that is a guy named [glow=red,2,300]Yovanic[/glow] Let's hope Greg sits him most of the time.

"brill has never held a kid up..." AHAHA buddy u really have no clue what you are talking about....Brill is the biggest businessman in the league....he doesnt give two sh*ts if a kid has to sit half the year for him to get what he wants....just ask Andrew Harasym from 4 years ago!

You got that right. The guy's a prick when it comes to dealing with the kids. A lot of guys would rather play anywhere else but for him but they are usually enlightened after they have signed their card and then he's got them by the stones. Most Cambridge minor guys look to get out before they have to deal the the Hawks.
