Noticed in the last Beacon Herald article that the Cullitons were only 1 for 11 on the power play last game. Obviously good goaltending was a factor but maybe it is time for Flanagan to consider different players on the power play. Any suggestions?

tonites loss to the winterhawks shows how poor the power play is -1:50 at 5 on 3 no goals #6 turns the puck over twice to allow short handed goals. when could you play 2 mins and be 100% - for christs sake put fresh skaters on the ice. lets post the + - and see who the liabilities are. If chewing the waud is a crime in the O why are we watching Rex spit all nite into a cup, show some class try some new plays and reap the benefits or go home

Exactly the point, need to look at different combinations. But Flanagin continues to wear out the same players game after game and then they have nothing left in the third period. As a result the PP is awfull. These things show up more in games against better teams. It would be really nice to see the plus minus for the players. My guess is even Flanagan might be surprised.

Every team's PP in the league is dismal, only Cambridge is running over 20%

they need new players on the pp are you kidding... maybe get some guys who will shoot on d but other than that who do they have, do you replace warda buck andrewsnmc parlen kropf eckensweiler and broome, with who. morgan bean, simon culliton, and pat mc clure, get serious, flannigan needs systems that work and he needs to get the players that are on the pp in the places where they can uses the talent that they have

the power play is horrible, all the guys on the ice are thinking about themselves and their points, Warda and Kropf won't pass to each other, Warda is always going backwards with the puck, need to put someone in front of the net and leave him there

Send Warda back to Deroit or wherever he came from.

Warda is very good and the coach should try putting him on the same PP as the Buck kid. they are both terrific skaters and Buck can find players all over the ice with his vision. If this happens Kropf, Buck and Warda will have tons of PP chances.

At this point try anything different. It can't be any worse. The key is players who will play as a unit and not as individuals. Warda & Kropf need to move the puck to create open ice.

Stratford is not the only team with an ineffective pp. I cannot think of one team in this league that has got a system worked out and players who will stick to it. A penalty seems to stimulate the offended team to drop any sense of coordination and just bang away in any direction. Keep taking players off the pp until you get five who will follow the plan if there is one, and if there isnt one watch a few jr c games, they have it down.

The PP still has problems (need to pay the price in front of the net) but great job by the PK last night against Kitchener. A couple of big hits and fights show the Cullys can play tough if necessary. Huston showed he is one of the best goalies in the league.

How many times will the big tuff Cote bleed in Stratford. Maybe he should try fighting someone his own age or size?

Cote was hammered into the boards in the 1st. period by a rookie and was cut open, he then tried to have a fight with another rookie and lost there also, for a captain losing everything he does dosn't show well for his teamates, what is he 20 years old.

Nope - actually if you'd like to set the record straight....
Cote was elbowed in the nose in the first period and busted his nose.... Stratford was called for the penalty ...he came back out to play in the second which is more than I can say for stratford girl thingys......
In the third period the fight was actually pretty even between the two players... someone has to stand up for the cr*p that the stratford team tries to pull... I don't blame COTE at all...

Good win Kitcherer...you out skated, out hussled and over all out worked Stratford..You deserved the win. Best of luck tonight agaisnt Cambridge

Kitchener deserved the win, Stratford has got no backbone and the players don't stick up for each other, there power play is the worse in the league, twice they had a chance 5 on 3 and could hardly get the puck to the net, all their pp players want to stick handle around, they don't get the puck to the net.( time to make some changes here and get some players who can shoot the puck ) in order for Stratford to get back winning they must toughen up, Stratford will be in tough on Sunday playing in Elmira they work hard and don't back down

the PP is always terrible check the stats over the last ten games, Warda in particular should not be on the ice for the PP, he will not pay the price in front of the net and has a terrible shot, maybe he is tired every game from the 30 plus minutes of ice time he gets from Flanagan, would love to know how bad his plus minus really is
