That is correct. This gives Derek 2 years of hockey instead of 1. Will be great to see Skinner in a hometown Hawks jersey.

dont think he went for the two years instead of one deal.. he went because of work commitements.. he loved it in listy and he will be missed

Derek made his decision for a number of reasons. It was very difficult because he was well treated in Listowel. He will provide veteran leadership on the Hawks blueline and log a ton of icetime. Good luck Skin!
