Wow...speechless, I cant believe he would go out and quit like that?...What are the Cycs going to do now, with one of their best players gone from the team? Keep strong boys, I'm sure you'll do fine without him...

Although Kyle was a great captain & player, the Cyclones did just fine on the weekend without him. He will be missed but as long as the rest of the team can remain focussed, everything will be fine. They are still in the top 4 teams as far as effort & talent goes but the key is to not let Verbern's departure get them down. Good luck to Kyle in his future endevours.

There is no way that Listowel is still a top 4 team. They are currently in 6th and losing your top player doesn't make your team better. I am sure Listowel will continue to work hard but unless they get better goaltending and start scoring goals this team will be in a fight for 6th place. We will see what type of leadership the remaining vets are able to show (Dewar/Cochrane/Feltz/Skinner/Schnurr). This core group will have to step up.

I don't think he quit because of an extra year of hockey. He went back too early because of his mono and just couldn't do it!

The fact of the matter is that the man left his team. I dont understand how you could want to finish your career in Jr.D. My advice to Kyle would be stick it out, you'll regret leaving when you're older.
