Who has been the best player in Cyclone history to sport the "C" on his sweater? And is Kyle Verberne a worthy recipient?

Can anybody name a half a dozen Cyclone captains? I'm guessing Perry Ohm was a captain. Jessie Martin was captain in recent years, but I not sure who else has donned the 'C' lately. Maybe Joe Heenan or Nick Schieble, perhaps Dave Hardy.
Verberne is definetly the best all around player to play in Listowel for the past five or so years.

Jorin Welcsh (sp?), Jeff Scharf, Gary Martin, Paulo Campinello (sp?), Joel McDonald, Jason Brooks they wre also Captains. I'd say Kyle Verberne is definitely up there as a worthy recipient, after all, what other player has led the team to a championship?

I would have to say Joe Heenan was one of the better "players" to wear the C, but maybe just lacked some desire in his later career. That'll happen when being moved from the best team in the nation to a lower team in the league. But things seemed to only go upwards when Heenan joined the team. Wish you woulda stuck in Elmira Buddy. Best of Luck Cyclones. PS. Verberne is a worthy man for the dutie. Good 2 way player

He is a great captain. What surprised me was when he was hurt in the playoffs last year and Dewar wore it for a game. I would have picked Kyle Handsaeme or Derek Skinner. Who is wearing the "A"s this year?

Cochrane, Dewar and Thompson and Skinner have all worn the A at some point. Why not Feltz??? or May?

Cycs have kept C's and A's from last year:
Verberne - C Cochrane - A Richardson - A
Team voted for the other two A's:
Skinner - A Ward - A
I would question Cochrane. He never shuts up and takes to many stupid penalties.

despite the yappin', Cochrane leads by example on the ice. he goes hard every shift. that's prob. what earned him an A.

His show is old. He needs to shut up and produce. Become an elite player in the league.

I AGREE ABOUT CHOCHRANE, HOWEVER THEY HAVE YET TO HAVE A LEADER STAND UP AND TAKE THE LEADERSHIP ROLE... WHAT MAY HELP IS NOT PLAYING THEM A GAME OR TWO BECASUE OF WHAT i HAVE WITNESSED THIS YEAR IS THAT THEY ARE ALL PRETTY COMPLACENT WITH THEIR PSOITION.

Joe Heenan wore the "C", and he has a sutherland cup ring. Him and Norman played together. Both are sick.
