Well the Doms didn't win but 6 3 isn't a disaster. Maybe a little more target practise. Those just over the pipe shots might have made the difference. Good luck in Waterloo.

Both sides missed a few open netters during the game, all the 5 on 3's should have netted both sides a few goals. It seemed to me that neither teams 5 on 3 efforts were very sucessful last night.

Hockeyeye, I agree, 6-3 is not a disaster. However, Doms need to beat teams 1,2,and 3 to proove they are suthy contenders. They have beat os 3 times and straty 2 for 10 pts. Listy for 2. Perhaps the team needs all cylinders going and winning with teams at lower standings will not get them there. Good luck Doms.

You are right anonymous and today was a good example of a bad example. Waterloo shooters skated around and past Dom Ds too many times and VanB was left to fend for himself. Some of the fending was questionable but why should the goalie be left with all the responsibility? Other than that the game was entertaining, we learned that penner handles himself ok,and if everybody had fun it was a good game. We musn't lose track of the fact that much of this is for the love of the game and winning is just one of the perks. It's still early in the season.

Loosing is not fun even if you play for the love of the game. My point was that Guelph has to win these games for them to be contenders right? This is not a good sign. The point is Guelph is not good. Not right now. They will be considered contenders when they beat and I say consistently beat teams with higher standings. Right now they are not beating the lower ones too. I sincerely hope Guelph turns it around.
