You're absolutely right.. These teams are in the Ottawa Valley District Junior B and they don't compete in the playoffs against OHA Junior B teams[/b]

Jr B in that territory is the same as Jr C here. Just like Jr b here is the same calibre as Tier 2. I think we should all get on the same page. OHA Jr B should be tier 2 -there are no tier 2 teams in the bottom half of southern Ontario but the perception is that tier 2 is better. Just a nmae difference. Also way too many Jr teams in the province - (over 100 tier 2 and Jr b teams alone!) - get rid of about 30 of them. Or develop a super league of about 20 teams in the whole province that will focus strongly on development for the OHL and NCAA. Fewer kids are lnading schollies because the weak competition most nights does not develop kids well.

great idea...an all of ontario junior b would keep bgums out of the league and it would be solid calibre
