A team is only as good as their coach.. so with that, the obvious answer would seem to be get rid of East. The Kings are a great team and although I am a Winterhawk fan thru and thru, this is my two cents, and it's free so take it for what it's worth. It comes down to how you want to end the season. It would be pretty hard for you to miss the playoffs, but getting a tie against Orangeville? You guys can do so much better, and with games like that, you're on your way. Defence needs to pick up and work as a unit. Forwards like Lunney, Dobbie and Sharpe need to step up aswell. Take shots. You never know you might even find the back of the net! Good luck guys.. with Cambridge in the barn tonight, you'll need it.

needs to learn to give kids ice based on their play and not if their one of his favs or vets, needs to start dictating ice on a game to game bases

I guess the coach was performing last night when Listowel was in town, I guess Swartzies performance was also a little embarassing. Get it together boys! Play with ESk pride and under control!

Swartzentruber is entitled to the odd blowing off steam. He is generaly under control for the entire game and that ok. The ref was as much the problem for that game as were the players. Either team would have lynched him in a heartbeat. I bet buggers like that park close to the door under the lites. Reffed properly that game would have been closer and even if listoell won the player animosity would have been less .

swartzentruber played like crap...trying to be tough and fighting the net....good call....then when the kings were trying to get a last rush together with 20 seconds left he shoots the puck over the glass in the other end...another good play swartzentruber...cost your team the game...swartzentruber just needs to use his head sometimes...nice phantom last night also...good to see him going up to the ref after the team loses. kings may not have got a point, but good that phantom swartzentruber did

That wasn't a Phantom point. Let me tell you exactly what happened as I was sitting beside the penalty box. Basically Fuller had no clue as to who was in on any of the goals. He was guessing at most of them. He had all 3 Elmira goals wrong but they all got corrected right away (but not announced).
The nice goal from Rhame he said was unnassisted but the pass was from Bauman. So he corrected that next whistle.
The 2nd Elmira goals was announced as Dobbie from Love and Brenner. But when Dobbie was in the box he told them that it was actually Brenner who scored from Love and Dobbie. So they changed that.
I don't know what Fuller was smoking on the last goal (or the poster who said Swarts got a phantom point.) Swarts had the puck at the point carried it in and shot on net where Love put in the rebound. And Fuller gave the points to 3 forwards. But the linseman corrected that one.
So pay attention to the game next time. I know it's hard with those Listowel women screetching costantly, but just try.

maybe the guys who were coaching Brantford at the start of the year would coach. They seemed to know what they were doing. Where are they from?

sometimes it is hard enough for the inept officials in the league to get the guy who scored let alone the two assists. let's not be too hard on the phantom assist getters.
