Cambridge has been pumping in the goals and the troubles on the blue line didn't show up other than in constantly being outshot. Time to shore up the D guys. Snowdon is looking stronger every game. They will put it together. Keep the faith Winterhawks fans.

i agree. too many turnovers by the winterhawks D. Snowdon is playing very well, hes a guy that moves opponents from the front of the net easily. he is a good PK too. sheridan is still a bit slow off the gun. zych is a great young defensmen. bonniville rushes way too much considering his d partner is usually slow and doesnt handle odd man rushes quite as well. and watts is so inconsistant, sometimes i think hes a great D, other times i hoped theyd just send him back to jr C. all in all, i think they are still a good core of D. they better just start working harder and showing up like the offense usually does.

Brantford has a great team now that they have signed all those players and there are some more that are supposed to be getting signed. Brantford will give cambridge a run for 1st place this year.

By the way how do you give up over 100 shots in 2 games and still expect to be at the top 'o the heap?...Lobsinger chased last night is not a good sign if the Hawks hope to take top spot.

lobsinger absolutley stood on his head against listowel with 63 saves and against brantford he had no chance on any of the 3 goals he let in all brutal giveaways by the D. and he stopped a breakaway.

like to know who on the coaching staff is in love with zech....what an terrible defencemen. should be a forward. can't stop anybody. cambridge wants to keep losing then they should keeping playing him and bonneville. neither one can play defence but they can't play them enough. maybe the coaching staff should just play 5 forwards and leave the defencemen on the bench

so why didn't he go. becacause he knew the opp. forwards would eat him alive. too small to clear anyone in front on the net,all he does is back up and back up. put a pair of pads on him

its simply called defence. Do you understand that defencemen are supposed to stop the opposition from scoring. Maybe with all those points he should be a forward...cause he can't stop anyone one on one, can't hold the line and can't get the puck out of the corner; hence, play defence....i think the position your looking for is called a FORWARD. DEFENCEMEN worry how many pucks they keep out of the net. Good for him, he scores 1, but lets 3 in. Sorry, your right, he is a great defencemen. What are you his father. Who cares but you how many points he has. Surely not other players or anyone else on this site

it sure would be nice to see traccito and sheridan get a roughing BEFORE the whistle penalty. it always seems to be after the whistle. in orangeville last night the two of them combined to put the winter hawks short handed for a complete period. let's wake up here. let's pick up your physical play not your 'the referee will protect me' after the whistle stuff!

don't think sheridan's too concerned with the physical play. Don't think he needs to be protected by the ref. or anyone else. Don't see anyone calling him on. Think cambridge did alright. Didn't they win 7-2

Lobsinger faced a lot of shots and led the league in save% when he left. He will be tough to replace. Do Hawks need a #1 guy to replace him or can this George kid carry the load? Trounced Flannigan's gang last night and he looked pretty good after letting soft one in early. Any thoughts?

I agree. Lobsinger will be hard to replace and he is a great kid but don't kid yourselves. These Hawks are for real and George will be able to shoulder the load.
