used to play for listowel. If so does anyone know why he left?

Yes he did, the Cullitons picked him up midway thru last season. I think he was just a victim of numbers in Listowel, but he's been a good addition for the Tribe.

Good Player? I agree with the good guy part. And he's a good guy to have on the team just for his desire and hard work ethic, but I wouldnt consider him a "good" hockey player by any means

As far as a person, he's about the nicest guy you're going to meet.
As a player, sure, he's not the most talented guy, but he's going to give his all and he damn smart. For example: end of tonight's game against Kitchener with the Cullitons up 3-2 with a buck and change remaining, defenceman makes a stupid pinch, but there's Crawford, back in the vacant defense spot and, wouldn't you know it, the puck gets chipped out and it would have been a 2-on-1 for the Dutchmen had he not been back there.
That's the type of little thing a lot of players at this level don't do and it's the type of quality that makes a player invaluable.
