Zych better grow and learn to play down low or the only way he's getting into the Aud is with a ticket.

Kitchener is a good organizaion, doubt they made that big a mistake with a 5th round pick, must have seen something they liked

Seeing as the title of this thread says clearly 'genuine shot' ... nobody. There are no Sidney Crosby's in this league this year. They are all long shots.

From last year I think Trigunna and Spaling (the bigger one) have an outside shot.

the O would kill vanbommel hes way too small and bad to play there

vanbommel would be aweful if he didnt have a good team infront of him, put him on the siskins and see how his stats are after a few games there, and yes he is way to small to play in the O...they would scare him out of that league

all the 89's that played junior have a shot at making the OHL, will depend on their ability but also the needs of the team that drafted them, interesting to see how many games each of the 89's played this year in the O this season
Hardy (0) Locke (1) Lynch (0) McFarland (0) Manderson (1) Neilly (0) Taylor (9) Traccito (5) Zych (0)

the big question is exactly that what teams are looking for next year, were they strong this year and are they looking to rebuild with youth like some teams are already

Its a slim chance that many will move on to the NHL or even the OHL alot are shooting for those now rare schollys and some will go on to play minor pro or semi pro but most will just fall off the radar. BUT NEVER GIVE UP KIDS YOU NEVER KNOW......RYAN JONES WHO PLAYED FOR THE CHATHAM MAROONS 3YRS AGO WAS DRAFTED RIGHT OUT OF JR B BY THE MINNESOTA WILD AS WELL AS GETTING A SCHOLLY!!! He was 20 at the time it was labeled a late bloomer but was lucky enough to catch someones eye and word got around. YOU NEVER KNOW WHOS IN THE STANDS!!!

Zack Torquato will play in the show and is better then any '89 in this league as he's an '89 himself, the rest of the 89's in this league don't even compare so you're answer to the people in this league who have a genuine shot at the NHL....ZERO!!!! but definately enjoy all the good times and gongshows before your junior career is over, time of your lives
